IDEAL CANDIDATE

Excellent time management skills;

  • Ability to work quickly with enthusiasm

  • Adhere to the allotted time frame; able to adjust the pace of instruction accordingly

Outstanding customer service skills;

  • A people-person

  • Outgoing, engaging and at ease with strangers; both adults and children

  • Create a relaxing and fun atmosphere

Stellar communication skills;

  • Comfortable “on stage” instructing and entertaining groups up to 24 people within a specified time frame (typically 3 hours)

  • Ability to learn and deliver scripted instruction and improvise appropriately as needed

WHAT IS REQUIRED (all of the above plus below)

  • A completed application (see below for link)

  • Ambassador of our brands; understanding and supporting our culture, mission, offerings and policies at all times

  • Must be reliable and available to work nights, weekends and be flexible as the schedule is based on customer demand

  • Workshops are scattered throughout the calendar and may fall between the following hours; Monday – Saturday 10:00 am – 10:00 pm (customers typically leave by 10:00 pm, leaving 30 minutes for clean up and set up). Sunday 11:00 am – 8:00 pm (customers typically leave by 8:00 pm, leaving 30 minutes for clean up and set up)

  • Must be able to do physical labor (lifting wood supplies, paint, etc.)

  • Must be able to stand 3 – 4 hours at a time while instructing the class

  • Set up for class, clean-up, checking in customers, reconciling attendance

  • Computer and camera savvy

  • Able to roll with the punches, handle basic challenges and troubleshoot

  • A signed non-compete, non-disclosure, and social media clause upon hire (must be returned within three (3) days of being hired).

  • A thorough review of our Employee Handbook, the last page signed and returned within three (3) days of being hired.
