At The Board Bar, we take crafting, creating and celebrating to a whole new level!  Our parties include everything but the sweet treats and drinks, so it’s virtually hassle free and easy to reserve for your group.

Whatever the occasion, we’ve got the creative space for a unique celebration!

  • Our tween & teen birthday parties are designed for kids ages 8 – 17.

  • Packages are $350 + tax include a minimum of 10 kids total; extra kids are welcome and are $35 + tax each.

  • Packages include a 10.5″ x 16″ pre-assembled planked wood sign along with stencils and materials needed to complete the project.

  • Our tween & teen scene workshops are 2 hours.  We allow approximately 90 minutes for instruction and creative wood sign making and 30 minutes or so for cake and celebrating.

How to reserve:

  1. Reserve online by selecting one of our themes above.  You must choose a theme and all guests will create signs within that theme.  Clicking on a theme will bring you to the calendar with available dates.   At the time of your reservation, you are responsible for paying the deposit of $120.  [see below for information concerning your deposit]

  2. As the host/hostess, you are responsible for providing a list of first names and designs (within the theme chosen) for your guests, including the guest of honor, at least 72 hours in advance.  With the exception of Selfie Love, first names are required for personalization.  If you are unable to obtain everyone’s name, we will have some non-personalized options available for the ones not accounted for – we wouldn’t want to leave anyone out!

  3. For the design selection within the chosen theme, our tween/teen makers will select their design during the party after a visit to our stencil bar.

Deposit:

A deposit of $120 is required to save a time slot and reserve the studio for your birthday party. The deposit will be applied towards your final balance, which is due at the end of your party. If your birthday party does not meet the minimum number of registered AND attending guests; you are financially responsible for the difference at the end of your event.

If you need to reschedule your event, you may do so ONE time without penalty providing we have a minimum of ten (10) days in advance. A date change with less than ten (10) days’ notice or multiple date changes will result in a loss of your deposit.

A new deposit may be required to secure a new date. We understand unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather and illness and will review those on a case by case basis. No shows will result in complete forfeiture of your deposit.

If you are unable to select a new date, your deposit will remain on account and can be used towards a like event in the future.

Cost:

$350 + tax for up to 10 kids, which includes the guest of honor. Additional kids are $35 per person with a maximum of 24 kids.
We accept all major credit cards and/or cash as final payment.  Your deposit will be applied towards your final balance.  Your final balance is due at the end of your party/workshop.

Change in project and/or personalization:

If applicable, be sure to double check your spelling, dates and anything else that is unique to your sign.  Supplies, including a customized stencil and pre-assembled planked signs, are prepared three (3) days in advance.  You are welcome to make any changes to personalization prior to 72 hours at no additional cost.  Please send an email with your request to info@theboardbar.com.  If you need to make any changes 24 – 72 hours before the scheduled start of your workshop, a $15 stencil/administration fee will be charged and is due at the beginning of your workshop.  Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes with less than 24 hours’ notice.

Cancellation Policy:

Arrival:

We strongly recommend you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time.  This will give you time to find parking, bring your sweet treat/beverages in and get settled before your guests arrive.  We recommend guests arriving 5 – 10 minutes early as your party will start promptly at the scheduled time.

Our workshops follow a tight, instructor led schedule for your enjoyment and the safety of those around you.  We start promptly at the time stated at registration.  Guests arriving up to 15 minutes late will join the group at whatever point the workshop has progressed to and may not participate in all of the steps.   Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be allowed to participate in sign making but are more than welcome to enjoy cake and drinks after.  We will do our best to include late comers, but cannot interrupt or delay the flow of the party in progress due to safety and time constraints.
